We are pleased to announce significant progress on our latest development. The foundations and footings for the entire basement have been completed, with most columns cast from the basement up to the underside of Basement One.
The first portion of the Basement One slab in Portion One has also been cast, and decking for Basement One in Portion Three is underway. Our lift shaft is advancing well, with the first cast completed, and we expect to proceed with the second and third in the coming weeks.
Lateral support and bulk excavation are now complete, with Frankie Powell and Ross Demolitions having moved off-site. The site has been fully handed over to R+N, our esteemed master builders with 75 years of experience. They will continue constructing this prestigious building on Kornhof Church Street and Regent Road.
Looking ahead, we will commence decking and casting the slab for Portion Two, as well as casting Portion One of the ground floor slab, which includes the future Tasha's restaurant, by the first week of October. All columns in Portion One from the Basement One slab to the underside of the ground floor have been cast, and both staircases leading to the basement have been completed. Internal staircases will follow shortly.
Despite weather-related challenges, including rain, wind, and storms, we are progressing excellently. True to Berman Brothers’ tradition, we expect to be ahead of schedule, not just on time but ahead of time, as we work towards completing the prestigious Dolce Vita development.
